There are so many things in this book that made me think:”Please tell me I did not just read this” that I finally gave up and DNF at 78%
Looking back, I should have stopped when:
• It was disclosed that “feminine release” strengthens internal muscles, which increases the chances of getting pregnant, so the more “releases” she gets, the better chances the “seed” have.
• Repetitions - the words “brave” and “bravery” was repeated 14 times in 3 pages of the text, 4 times in a 7-line paragraph alone.
• When I waddled through pages and pages of yawn-inducing conversations which led nowhere only to be repeated in slightly different manner between different participants.
• He started “grinding his rod against her femininity”
• Sex scenes that reminded me of the furniture- assembly instructions – substitute “rods” for divots and “femininity” for brackets and you’ve got it.
• It was revealed that bullets don’t work well on piercing dragon’s tough hide but arrows shut from a longbow will do the trick.
• A 3-day mission to rescue a hostage required a Royal tent (and that it is a Royal tent was itinerated at every opportunity). The above-mentioned tent featured electric lights from a portable generator, indoor plumbing, huge four-posture bed with thick mattress plus two other beds, tapestries for the walls, gilded fireplace (what, no grand piano? This is really roughing it up!)
• After deciding that she is not brave (here is that word again) enough therefore unworthy to birth royal babies, our heroine withdraws “physical intimacy” from dragon princes. So they decide to test her resolve by torturing her in a form of cooking dinner while tempting her with a bit of striptease. (They we right – there were the most torturous chapters I have read in a long time)

What finally made me stop? A vegetable. You see, in Kira’s own words:
“I never had a zucchini pointed at me before and I couldn’t help but realize that it was just about the same thickness and length as Blake and Steven’s rods when fully erect”
I rest my case.

I honestly am not sure how it has a 3.8 rating. It was just... boring. That is the best word I can think of. It sounded like it had so much promise but it didn't deliver at all. I finally finished it desperately hoping it would improve, but it never did. What is wrong with it? Let me tell you a few of the biggest issues. First there is literally no character or plot development. You are thrown into a scene and just when you think you are about to get an explanation, it changes with no warning or transition. Secondly the supposed sex scenes and romance terrible. I can't really call them sex or romance scenes because that would require the author to have a conversation more than 2 lines long, or to actually finish a scene before moving on to the next one. Once again no plot or character or scene development is an issue here. Also the language the author uses to describe what people are doing kind of sounds like a child. Third There is literally nothing likeable about the female lead. She is your typical very weak, ridiculous female "heroine" that needs saving. She constantly gets in the men's way, and needs their rescue because as a women she unable to do anything. After being sold into slavery she finds out a bout dragons, and has no reaction. Then she sees the brothers and suddenly she's fine with selling her self as sex slave and letting them decide who is sleeping with her and when. Suddenly all she can think about is getting pregnant and having babies. Then about halfway through she develops this obsession with proving she is "brave" enough to bear the royal heir because she hadn't yet proved her self "brave" enough to be a mother. She repeats this thought and the word brave at every opportunity until the end of the book. In conclusion it's poorly written and not worth the time.
Even though the parts of the story were completely unbelievable it's fiction so I rolled with it. I completely lost interest when Kira froze and fainted instead of seeking help for her and her friend when they were being attacked. It got worse from there one Kira went on this I have to prove I'm not a coward crusade. I skipped pages and pages and chapters it was so awful. Then the stupid girl almost kills one of the brothers shooting arrows again for her I'm not a coward crusade. Then she gets her self snatched by Cain the leader of the destroyers because she can't shoot her stupid arrows from the window so she decides to go outside. Ughhhhhhh. I skipped to the end to get it over with.
